Sourcing Top Talent

• Topic Description: 

• With dramatic shifts taking place in the workplace like record low unemployment rates, gone are the days where “posting and praying” serves as an effective recruitment tool. One approach to successfully recruiting in today’s world is tapping into passive candidate pools or sourcing talent. This presentation will review how Hospital Sisters Health System has incorporated sourcing into its talent acquisition process to identify top talent and how you can incorporate sourcing strategies into your talent acquisition processes.

• About the Speakers: 

Holly Kesterson is a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant with HSHS. In her current role, Holly most often uses sourcing strategies to identify leadership candidates as well as IT professionals. Holly has been with HSHS since 2012 and has served in a variety HR roles in her time with the organization.

Lacy Walters is a Talent Sourcing Strategist with HSHS. Lacy’s primary functions include sourcing and evaluating candidates for open positions and short and Long-Term pipeline needs. Using sourcing tools, researching and networking, she develops relationships with passive candidates including RNs, Allied Health and Management. Lacy has been with HSHS since 2018. Prior to HSHS, Lacy served in the oil and gas industry for seven years as Vice-President/Recruiter.

 Guests may attend a CIC-SHRM Chapter meeting one time for free.
