Topic Description As part of the recently adjourned Special Session of the Illinois General Assembly, the Illinois Unemployment Insurance Act was amended to address COVID-related issues. Join Scott Cruz, Labor and Employment Attorney at Greensfelder Hemker & Gale PC for an informative webinar on August 12, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. as he discusses how employers are impacted and strategies employers should utilize to comply and protect their operations from unemployment related claims during this COVID-19 pandemic. Scott Cruz represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including civil litigation and preventative counseling. He is particularly versed in all aspects of state and federal law relating to minimum wages, overtime, exemptions, and wage payment issues.
