Director, Audit and Insurance - Sikich
Lara Stanton, CPA, is a director of audit and assurance services at Sikich with over 25 years of experience. Lara is a valued resource to her clients, having extensive expertise in employee benefit plans and SOC examinations. Her experience includes serving as an engagement director on audits, performing quality control inspections of employee benefit plan audit files, preparing SOC reports for clients, and completing quality control reviews for SOC reports.
Lara is a frequent speaker and presenter at accounting and employee benefit plan conferences. Outside of the office, she likes to spend time with her spouse and three kids, traveling, cooking, and reading.

Director and ERISA Advisor - Sikich
Dana Howell, CPA, is a director in assurance services and a leader on the
firm’s ERISA and employee benefit audit team. She has more than 20 years of
experience in the management and planning of ERISA audits and Form 5500
filings and has an advanced understanding of ERISA compliance issues and
accounting requirements of employee benefit plans.
Her comprehensive knowledge of complex tax rules and experience managing
technical audits has allowed her to become the team expert at sorting through
complicated situations and creating effective correction strategies.
